Differences between hearing and seeing
Trashs are thrown outside trash bin on a sidewalk along the river front, wich is considered as the most popular tousrist spot and clearn place in the Phnom Penh.
A beautiful face in an ugly city
Most street in Phnom Penh have no sidewalk for pedestrains to walk. All space is used by flat owners to park cars, cooking, and many other things. It has been privatised! And there is no place to walk on the street because it is used by Phnom Penh city to store garbage. Simply, there is no room for you guy!
Crazy Bussiness
Poor management: between life and death of the people, Many Cambodia traffic police would choose to take money. Happily! law is only on paper. police take money and allowers citizens to risk their lives riding on the car's roof. Police and municiple authority are all good at reciting about law but they are truely the one who sit on the law.
Apartment flat in Phnom Penh look like a prision cell
Many flat owners in Phnom Penh built their houses to make it looks like an animal cage or prision cell. Rediculous looking! And more importantly, this cage are mostly built so close to the road. Many construction violated the sidewalk but local authorities or municipality is too busy with their personal interest to care for this anarchic behavior.
Plastic bag and bottle, DANGER!
The use of plastic bags and bottles in Phnom Penh as well as around Cambodia is increasing in an larming rate. No control or restriction or a solution have been made by the goverment to address the issue. It is widely ignored. The use of paper bag that is produced from natural materials have not been encouraged so far. Many countires have banned the use of plastic bag but Cambodian goverment is sleeping on this matter.
Too many families' stupas inside pagoda's compound
Pagoda should be a quiet but beautiful place full of flowers and garden where people can visit and enjoy their peaceful prayer. But many pagodas allowed too many stupas to be built inside their ground. There should be only several big and beautiful public stupas for every families who wish to pay a rational amount of service for the wat.
Where is my social pension
This people are only struggling to survive day to day and receive little or no interest from the auhtority. They are completely deprived of, not only social, but economic and political rights.
Is it true?
Many residental apartment in Phnom Penh look very disorderly. Some people say many parts of Phnom Penh now is look just like Singapore 60 years ago!

I am not interested in individule. It is only a dimentional reflection shwoing the gap of some institutional performance. The biggest responsbility to make the city clean and organised lay on ideas, innovation, and action of the City or Provincial governor and the local authorities like district and commune. It should not be the responsibility of the goverment alone.
